Cypress Community Services offers quality community-based support to persons with mental retardation and developmental disabilities.  Our goal is to give consumers the opportunity to live in their own residence while encouraging them to become part of their community and to realize their personal dreams.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT

Cypress Community Services provides intensive, ongoing support for an SCL consumer to maintain paid employment in an environment in which an individual without a disability is employed. 

BEHAVIOR SUPPORT

Contracted services providing the systematic application of techniques and methods to influence or change behavior in a desired way.

OCCUPATIONAL, PHYSICAL & SPEECH THERAPY

Contracted services with licensed therapists.  

RESPITE

Respite services are provided to people who live at home with families or a guardian.  Respite provides relief for caregivers and provides the opportunity for the consumer to enjoy leisure activities.

STAFFED RESIDENCE

Cypress Community Services offers residential supports to consumers who wish to live in the community. Homes are leased and 24-hour support is provided. Each of our homes accommodates a maximum of three individuals and are located in traditional neighborhoods throughout Lexington, Versailles and Frankfort. Cypress strives to provide clean, well furnished homes in safe neighborhoods.  

COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORTS

Community Living supports are provided to people who choose to live in their own home.  Staff assist with a variety of services including community involvement and daily living skills.

ADULT DAY TRAINING

Cypress Community Services provides training during the day to assist with daily living skills, community services, social and vocational skills.   

CASE MANAGEMENT

Cypress Community Services provides Case Management to assist people in coordinating  and monitoring their services.  Case Managers must have a minimum of a bachelor’s level education.
